Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless the original complainant files a court action within the statutory period, we may restore the removed content.
The platform maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. A user may be considered a repeat infringer after multiple valid takedown notices have been received relating to content uploaded by that user. The platform reserves the right to terminate accounts at its discretion, even after a single instance of egregious infringement.
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, the platform will remove or disable access to the identified content, preserve records of the notice and action taken, notify the uploader of the removal, and log the event in the immutable audit trail. Content will not be reinstated except through the counter-notice process or a court order. Incomplete or invalid notices may be rejected with a request for correction.
